Saturday night was a fancy night
filled with rosé wine and elegant food pairings as guests sipped for a cause.
With 10 percent of the proceeds going to the nonprofit Dress For Success New
Orleans, the Rosé Soirée offered a variety of rosés from around the globe,
along with dishes that complemented them. Tastings included chargrilled oysters
paired with the Réserve des Bertrands Élégance rosé from Provence, delicious bone-in
beef ribs paired with a Château La Nerthe Côtes du Rhône rosé, and grilled
prawn skewers with Los Vascos rosé from Chile. The ladies from "Dear Donuts I Love
You" also provided freshly made donuts for dessert.
People were dressed to impress and
happily enjoyed the night as they supported a great cause in great company.
