The inaugural Bear Creek Bayou Music Festival is set to begin on Friday, September 30. This first-time festival will run for two full days at Mardi Gras World, the heart of where parade floats are built. Music fans of all ages are invited to experience what is sure to be a new hit in the Crescent City.

While the festival doesn’t officially begin until the 30th, feel free to join the pre-party celebration on Thursday, September 29. Come to the Joy Theater and experience musical performances from Soulive & Friends, OG GAT (FEAT. Charlie Hunter, Stanton Moore, Skerik), Naughty Professor W/ Chali 2NA, and Pirates Choice. Although the party doesn’t start until 7:00 p.m., festival fans can still enjoy a taste of what’s to come a whole night early. Tickets range from $40 to $110.

On September 30, the Bear Creek Bayou Music Festival kicks off its all-day extravaganza with non-stop concerts. With three stages throughout the venue, guests are sure to find their tastes with performers from the pre-party and plenty more. Everyone will need to prepare for the party running from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM with hardly any rest in between. And on October 1, the party starts again.

Tickets for the festival include passes for both days or just a single day experience. Single day tickets cost approximately $90 while two-day passes can reach up to $179. However, if anyone wants a VIP experience of the festival, additional purchases are available ranging from $400 to $500. Though they may be pricey, it could be worth being the first to experience Bear Creek Bayou as a VIP.
