Even Though Jazz Fest is Cancelled, You Can Still Get the Fest Food You Love

Jazz Fest 2020 may be cancelled, but the celebration's famous vendors are collaborating to offer New Orleanians the dishes they love! According to nola.com, restaurants citywide are continuing to serve their amazing crawfish strudel, Crawfish Monica, white chocolate bread pudding, and more. Indeed, a trio of Big River Foods, Cottage Catering, and Mahony's Original Po-Boys & Seafood is teaming up at Mahony's French Quarter location (901 Iberville St.) to offer all three of these popular dishes. Orders can be placed online at cottagecatering.com between 3 and 7 p.m. this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (April 24-26), as well as the following weekend (May 1-3). They will be distributed cold for heating up at home.

Additionally, veteran vendor Patton's Caterers will hosta pop-up at its Slidell catering facility, located on 127 Cleveland Ave., between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. this Friday and Saturday (April 24 and 25). Customers may purchase the company'smouthwatering crawfish beignets, oyster patties, and crawfish sacks. Individual and combination platters can be ordered the day of, or in advance by email, at JazzFestToGo2020@pattons.com. Though details are still in the works, the beloved VaucressonSausage Co., which has been a vendor at every Jazz Fest thus far, plans to sell its famed sausage po-boys as well.

Finally, numerous offerings, such as Prejean's pheasant, quail, and andouille gumbo; La Divina's strawberry balsamic sorbet and chocolate azteca gelato; and TJ's Gourmet Foods' blue crab cakes and alligator sausage kabobs, will be available at the Pythian Market. Individuals can opt for pickup or delivery between 12 and 8 p.m. this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (April 23-25) and next Thursday through Saturday (April 30-May 2).
