Carmo Debuts A Raw Bar

By: Emily Hingle

You may know the Warehouse District tropical eatery Carmo, but they've got something fresh and new for you to try. On December 5, they debuted a brand new menu of simple, delicious, raw fare that's as healthy as it is delightful.

The Gulf Shrimp is served sushi style atop a bed of sticky rice. There's also the Maguro Shima Sushi (Gulf tuna nigiri), Tiradito (Peruvian sashimi), Ca Tai Chanh (Gulf fish and squid ceviche), Sivinche de Carmarones (shrimp ceviche), and Lomi Lomi (salmon Hawaiian-style).

You'd be remiss to not have the Chilcano de Pescade Peruvian fishmerman's soup without your raw dishes. All of this can be washed down with a pisco cocktail, South American wine, or even sake. Whether you've never been to Carmo or you eat there regularly, this menu will thrill you.
