We all need something a little bit sweet after dealing with all of the hardships with COVID and now Hurricane Ida, and nothing tastes quite as sweet as Louisiana berries.
Commemorating 101 years of fine dining in New Orleans, Broussard's, located on 819 Conti St., is also celebrating Louisiana's native foods and traditions with a three-course prix-fixe menu. This special menu, put together by Chef Jimi Setchim, features berries in every single one of its dishes.
"Nothing says summer in the South like fresh berries," Chef Setchim said. "This menu highlights the delicate berries in both savory and sweet dishes, offering unique flavor combinations."
The menu is available from Thursday to Saturday, 5-9 p.m., and is $48. The menu is as follows:
