Apple just announced their new ResearchKit, which will turn your phone into a medical diagnostic device. The software for your iPhone lets users participate in clinical trials, and monitors individuals’ fitness levels. The first studies available will try and find diabetes, breast cancer, asthma, cardiovascular disease, and Parkinson’s disease in people.
