When Mardi Gras arrives in New Orleans, the entire city stops to play. Especially after being cancelled in 2021, people are ready to party like there's no tomorrow. With everyone out enjoying the festivities, it's hard to find a place that's open to have a bite to eat. Luckily, here are five restaurants in five local neighborhoods that you can go out to on Fat Tuesday.


French Quarter: Crescent City Brewhouse

If you're looking for locally brewed beer in the French Quarter, there's no better spot to go to than Crescent City Brewhouse. Not only are all of the beer selections delicious, the food ain't too shabby either! Some of their main dishes include the seafood jambalaya, bistro steak, and the glazed pork ribs. Treme: Crescent City Steaks

With a name like Crescent City Steaks, you know you'll be getting some of the best steaks in New Orleans. The restaurant's steaks are sizzled in butter and come in cuts like rib eye, strip sirloin, T-bone, and much more. They also have an extensive wine list, all of which pairs incredibly well with any of their steaks. Uptown: The Camellia Grill

Camellia Grill is New Orleans' go-to spot for classic diner fare in Uptown. Any time is a good time for breakfast at Camellia Grill. If you want to know what burger New Orleanians absolutely love to eat, then you have to go to Bud's Broiler. Their charcoal broiled burgers are famous all over the city. CBD: Domenica
