Time Turns Back at the Louisiana Renaissance Festival

On a chilly winter day, the Louisiana Renaissance Festival turned back the hands of time to show revelers how things used to be so long ago. Having been to LA Ren Fest for the past several years, I must say that this particular season was by far the most crowded I've ever experienced. But that's not a terrible thing. In fact, it was quite nice sharing this wonderous experience with so many new people who got to peruse the hand-crafted wares of the vendors, enjoy the live shows like jousting, comedy, and jugglers alike, and to take part in so much they've never experienced before. The festival was even expanded with an extra stage added just to accomodate everyone. I had to sip some beer while listening to Ren Fest royalty The Bilge Pumps perform, and I added a new piece of head jewelry to my collection. The Dungeon never ceases to amaze and astound. You can bet that I will be in attendance next year, and it looks like a ton of other people will be too.
