The Reverend Horton Heat Lights Up Tipitina's

The Reverend Horton Heart returned to New Orleans last week to play the historic Tipitina’s Uptown. The last time the trio was in town was Halloween two years ago. This show primarily played to the same formula, while substituting out Eric McFadden of P. Funk fame and putting in Unknown Hinson, aka Mr. Squidbilly. Their Halloween 2014 set list was heavy with the Rev release from that year, while the Tip's set list had less of that material. No matter the venue, Jim Heath and his Dallas, Texas-based psychobilly band bring an infectious energy that even the audience can't contain.
