The New Orleans Opera is all about drama and flair. That's why their annual Big Wig Ball to celebrate the start of Carnival was so visually stunning. The theme this year was inspired by the pop colors and fun characters that come from Tokyo. The glamorous and historic Opera Guild home was strewn with cotton candy, cupcakes, and tons of champagne. You didn't even have to stroll into the kitchen for it as people were happy to pass around bottles to top you off.
The night culminated in the wig contest, but everyone was truly a winner this night.
