The NFL Super Bowl will be returning to New Orleans this February since the city last hosted it in 2002, and it’s looking to be one of the best Super Bowls ever. Fans from all over the country will be fl ocking to New Orleans for the festivities that will unfold during Super Bowl week, including numerous parties, live music and great food. Stuck right in the middle of Mardi Gras, Super Bowl XLvII will keep the fun going with special events and four days of live music.
New Orleans will host parties spanning the entire city from January 29 to February 3 — Super Bowl day.
Aces and Angels Hold’em for Heroes
Wednesday, Jan 30; 6 p.m. Pontchartrain Center Ballroom, 4545 Williams Blvd; $200, VIP $500
Saints player Steve Gleason is hosting The Aces and Angels celebrity poker tournament where various celebrities will be in attendance. There is no word on this year's guest list yet, but past appearances have brought Kim Kardashian, Baltimore player Terrell Suggs, and comedian Dane Cook to the party. This event not only offers a Texas hold’em face-off, but it raises money to support veterans in the Wounded Warriors and the Gleason Initiative Foundation. The winner of the tournament will win two tickets to the Super Bowl, and all players making it to the fi nal table receive prizes. The event begins with a vIP Cocktail reception, then the Celebrity Meet and Greet, and Silent and Live Auctions that lead into the tournament with the stars.
Ladies Night Out

Come enjoy a “Ladies Night Out” while raising money for the Metropolitan Center for Women and Children. Party guests will have the chance to participate in funding a good cause, while also mingling among NFL athletes such as Chris Culliver, defensive back for the San Francisco 49’ers. Complimentary cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will be served and guests will also receive a complimentary gift bag. The fun will continue into the night, as guests will be able to try new products and services from various vendors. The night fi lled with music, food, dancing, and philanthropy will be a great way to kick off the Super Bowl week.
Rolling Stone LIVE with Pitbull and Flo Rida

Pitbull and Flo rida will be headlining the second annual rolling Stone Super Bowl Party this year at the Wyndham riverfront hotel. The Friday before the Super Bowl is one of the hottest nights to go out, but this party will be one for the record books. “America’s Got Talent” host Nick Cannon will be DJing the party, bringing even more celebrities to the guest list. ESPN Magazine’s NEXT Big Weekend Party

This VIP-only event at Tad Gormley Stadium will feature celebrities, athletes, and models for a big, Super Bowl concert blowout. Last year, Drake was the headliner for ESPN Magazine’s NEXT Big Weekend Party, so the headliner for this year’s party is highly anticipated. Celebrate the Super Bowl weekend in style and among various celebrities. Previous attendees include Kid rock, rev run, Snoop Dogg, Lil Wayne and Lindsey Lohan.
Coors Light Super Cold Party

The howlin Wolf will be hosting the Coors Light Super Cold Party, featuring performances by rebirth Brass Band at 9:30 p.m. and Ice Cube at 11:30 p.m. This night of beer and performances will offer complimentary MillerCoors beverages, mini muffalettas to kick off Super Bowl weekend. The “Super Cold” theme will be enhanced by giant ice sculptures and snow.
