Canadian prog-rock band Rush formed in 1968.  Between 1968 and 1974, the band went through a number of line-up changes, achieving their definitive form when Neil Peart replaced original drummer, John Rutsey, in July 1974.  The band also consists of bassist, keyboardist, and lead vocalist Geddy Lee and guitarist and backing vocalist Alex Lifeson.  Their illustrious career is marked by twenty studio albums as well as ten live albums which produced an astounding 78 singles.  Friday night’s concert at the Smoothie King Center was a spectacle to say the least.  The band has come a long way since their 1974 show at the infamous Warehouse.  You can see an expanded gallery here: http://jalbum.net/a/1625239
