If you can't get enough of the Ruby Slipper Cafe, you've got even more of a reason to love it now that they've opened a new location at 315 S. Broad St. in a newly-renovated historical building. For your convenience, there's a large parking lot located behind the building. The warm, bright, cozy, yet modern look of the restaturant is made complete with tasteful local art and inviting wall colors. The chalk art menus add just a touch of whimsy.
This location has proven to be a bit more adventurous with their menu. I tried the Bananas Foster French Toast, Chicken St. Charles, and the decadent Hot Smoked Salmon Omelette. The rich flavors are perfectly complimented by the delicious coffee drinks and stomach-warming cocktails. You've got to try their famous Bloody Mary if you haven't had the pleasure yet.
