Louisiana filmmakers—Breaux Bridge’s Brian Richard, Broussard’s Hunter Burke, Lafayette’s Nick Lavin, Arnaudville’s Teri Wyble, and New Iberia’s Natalie Kingston - are hoping to have their Cajun folktale film, —Lost Bayou, greenlighted by the Hometown Heroes Rally. The event is presented by Seed & Spark and New Orleans natives/filmmakers the Duplass Brothers. If Lost Bayou wins the competition, the team would receive a production grant of up to $25,000 and the chance to get the Duplass Brothers to executive produce their project.
