1/3 Cajon, 1/3 Blues, 1/3 Zydeco was the recipe for Saturday night's Louisiana music showcase at Tipitina's. Uptown. All three bands that played, Lost Bayou Ramblers, Colin Lake, Cedryl Ballou & The Zydeco Trendsetters have managed to redefine their prospective genera, while sticking to the roots of the music prospectively. It's always nice seeing a traditional washboard up on that historic stage; Professor Long Hair would have been proud. His spirit was well represented and the eerie creeping fog outside just added to the charm of the evening.
