Hi Ho Lounge - Hi Ho Lounge This week, I had the chance to talk a walk with Dishcrawl; a restaurant tour this time occurring at three great places on Magazine Street. Each venue was tasty as it was fun! The first stop was Dat Dog on Magazine Street for some Poppy Tooker Fries, Bacon Werewolf Dog and a Guinness Dog. We then marched through the rain to GG’s Dinorama for some amazing 7 Cheese Mac and Cheese, Crawfish & Eggplant Fritter, and St. Patty’s Day Massacre Slider. It all paired great with the housemade white wine Sangria. The last stop was Amici for some amazing Gamberetto fra Diavolo (Diablo Shrimp), Polpette Meatball, and Crab e Aragosta Ravioli. We ended that portion with a crispy Chocolate Cannoli. It’s not just dinner; it’s a food-fueled event! Stayed tuned here for Dishcrawl’s other local events.

Presented by the Krewe du Who, it’s time for the Second Annual NOLA Time Fest happening at the Double Tree by Hilton New Orleans Airport located at 2150 Veterans Memorial Blvd. Beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 7th, hundreds of Dr. Who lovers will be privy to panel discussions, a Robes of Rassilon Costume Contest, Sonic Screwdriver Sock Hop with live music by the Consortium of Genius, a gaming tournament and much more.
