Steak, Blue cheese and Bacon on Baby Spinach
Salads as entrees don't normally do much for me, but there are exceptions.  Lakeview Harbor, best known for the big beefy burgers with  fully loaded baked potatoes, or homey daily specials and pizzas, also sneaks in a salad that stands up to big hunger.  The Blue Cheese Steak Salad is serious business.  Fresh baby spinach leaves are piled int o a wide bowl, sprinkled with good crumbled bacon and crowned with an 8-ounce sirloin steak, cooked to order.  To top off this beast-of-a-salad, there's a toss of crumbled blue cheese as garnish, and you can choose your dressing (I recommend the "house"), though it's almost unnecessary, the juicy steak providing good moistness and flavor to the greens.  Tender, tender properly seasoned steak; crisp, smoky bacon; tangy blue cheese, and mild but mighty baby spinach??  Seriously, this is the best $15 you'll ever spend on a salad. Ever.  And talk about economy of motion, Lakeview Harbor's Blue Cheese Steak Salad is two courses in one - a delectable time saver.
