According to the Red Cross, the current flooding that has greatly affected parts of southern Louisiana is considered to be the worst disaster in U.S. history since Hurricane Sandy. Donations have been set up through various funding sources such as the Red Cross, VolunteerLouisiana.gov and more.

One of those sources will come from none other than entrepreneur Larry Morrow. On Wednesday August 24, the promoter will be teaming up with the United Way of Southeast Louisiana for a benefit concert. The proceeds will help to assist the citizens victimized by the devastation.

The concert is slated for 7:00 p.m. at Republic Nola located at 828 S. Peters street. The roster of headliners include hip hop artist Curren$y, Grammy Award winner, songwriter and singer PJ Morton, The Brass-a-Holics, Ambre Perkins and more on this night of fundraising.

Other parties who also teamed up for the benefit include Q93, FM 98, Iheart Media,We Dat’s, Ascension Branding & Marketing, and Urban Orleans.
