Grammy award-winning musician Ed Sheeran has released the dates for his first-ever North American stadium tour! The tour begins August 18, 2018, at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA; he will be playing at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome on Halloween night. The British singer-songwriter’s third studio album ÷ is certified 2x-platinum, is the highest selling and most streamed album of 2017.

The album’s lead single, the infectiously catchy “Shape of You” is the most streamed song ever on Spotify. After spending 12 weeks topping Billboard’s “Hot 100”, the song spent an additional 33 weeks in the top 10, the most in the chart’s history. With the album’s second single, “Castle On The Hill”, Sheeran became the first artist in history to have two singles make simultaneous top 10 debuts. Last week, Sheeran launched the thirst single “Perfect” with an accompanying lyric video on YouTube that reached a staggering 3 million views in its first 24 hours.

Sheeran is one of the biggest pop stars in the world, with album sales totaling over 26 million. He has been included in Time Magazine’s “100 Most Influential People in the World” and is the recipient of the Songwriters Hall of Fame’s 2017 Hal David Starlight Award, which honors gifted young songwriters.

By playing at the Superdome, Sheeran joins the ranks of the biggest names in music history. He is one of the world’s most popular live performers, selling out big-name venues like Gillette Stadium and Madison Square Garden. For his 2018 tour, Sheeran is partnering with Ticketmaster’s #VerifiedFan system. Registration opened on Friday, September 22 and will close on Thursday, October 12, 2017, at 10 PM. Fan pre-sales will run from Monday, October 16 at 10 AM until Thursday, October 19 at 10 PM. General on-sale will begin Friday, October 20 at 10 AM.
