This Thursday, June 8, restaurants all around New Orleans will be donating 20% of their proceeds to the LA-SPCA. The event, called Dine Out 4 Paws, aims to provide New Orleans with a simple yet tasty way to give back to the animal shelter. All you have to do is dine at one of the participating restaurants and mention “Louisiana SPCA.” The LA-SPCA is a nonprofit organization that sets out to take care of underserved animals all over Louisiana and the event's proceeds from the evening will go towards feeding, bathing, and eliminating the suffering of these animals.

If that’s not enough of an incentive to dine out on June 8, Dine Out 4 Paws will also be hosting a raffle and the winner will be given two free tickets on any Jet Blue flight. Ask your server about the details for entering the contest. Participating restaurants include: Bayou Beer Garden, The Big Cheesy, The Bulldog, Café Amelie, Dat Dog, Mariza, The Ruby Slipper Café and Vacherie Café. This is a wonderful opportunity to help out an organization that does so much to help our community, so come on out and pig out on June 8! More information about the event and a list of participating restaurants can be found here.
