A new Dave & Busters location is about to pop up in the heart of the Crescent City. The Dave and Busters chain is known for arcade fun for adults.
The new location sits on 40,000-square-feet, with a restaurant and arcade. Dave and Busters is currently being built on the corner of Poydras Street and Loyola Avenue and is "tentatively" set to open on May 8, according to the Dave & Buster's website. This will be the chain's first location in Louisiana.
The location is part of a six-story, mixed-use development at 1200 Poydras St. that also includes a parking garage and retail shops on the street level.
With the new location set to open soon, Dave & Busters is now accepting applications. The company has not formally announced how many total hires it plans to make, but they’re looking to fill a range of positions at the new location, including servers, bartenders, dishwashers, managers and support technicians to repair and maintain games.
