Chocolate Sunday

New Orleans' PBS station WYES is throwing a party filled with chocolate and history at the New Orleans Lakefront Airport in Messina’s at the Terminal on Sunday 6/7. Tickets are 35 dollars in advance, or 40 dollars at the door, for a general admission pass, and 50 for the VIP. Along with the chocolate, Vincent Caire will host  15 min. tours  at 2:30, 3:30 & 4 pm. Caire, author of Louisiana Aviation: An Extraordinary History in Photographs and producer of “Skyriders: Louisiana Aviation Pioneers,” a documentary on Louisiana aviation that aired on WYES, will give tours of the airport with information on its construction, design and restoration. All proceeds from this event support WYES’ mission of serving greater New Orleans, southeast Louisiana and the Mississippi Gulf Coast with educational, entertaining and enlightening programming.
