Beignet Fest 2017 To Offer Over 20 Different Beignet Dishes

"This year, Beignet Fest will offer over 20 different dishes based on the iconic beignet,” said festival founder and event producer Sherwood Collins. On October 7 at the City Park Festival Grounds, Beignet Fest will feature some of the best beignets the city is willing to share. There will be new beignet dishes to try along with some of last year’s favorites. At the fest, the numerous combinations of beignets available will range from vegan to meat lovers, sweet and savory, seafood to traditional beignets. With a menu full of variety and flavor, everyone can experience the unique tastes of Beignet Fest. There will be live local music, and revelers will have a chance to pick the best traditional, non-traditional, sweet, and savory beignets in the Best Beignet contests. Also, celebrity judges will be present to vote for the Best Beignet overall.
