Bad Religion & Social Distortion Rocked the Fillmore New Orleans

Punk Rockin' in NOLA

One of the best selling punk rock bands of all time, Bad Religion, rocked the house in the Fillmore New Orleans with Social Distortion and opening act Lovecrimes on March 23.

The band, which pioneered the punk rock revival of the 1990s, played a new of their classic tracks, including their gold charting record "21st Century (Digital Boy)," "American Jesus," "Sorrow," and more.

Social Distortion had its start in the late 1970s and emerged from the Orange Country hardcore scene in California. The band's sound is punk that has been influenced by elements of hard rock, country, and blues. Some of the songs the band performed included their cover of Johnny Cash's "Ring of Fire," "Ball and Chain," "Bad Luck," and more.
