Always for Pleasure Festival

Court 13 Arts, the non-profit arts engine behind the Academy Award nominated film Beasts of the Southern Wild, will be hosting their annual Always for Pleasure Festival on November 12 through 14.  The festival offers a combination of both film and music, along with the energetic Second-Lines Parade, creating a weekend dedicated to the creative arts and lively New Orleans culture.  Highlights will include film screenings of Les Blank’s documentaries “Always for Pleasure” and “A Poem is a Naked Person,” a special performance by The Lost Bayou Ramblers, multiple dance parties with DJ Rusty Lazer, and many more opportunities to enjoy music, art, parading, and all out fun.  All inclusive pre-sale tickets are available for $25, or individual tickets can be bought at each event.
