She's the songbird of New Orleans, and she's got a voice as smooth as velvet. Robin's gorgeous, rich voice reminds me Ella Fitzgerald: natural, deep and full of personality. Her E.P. has but five songs that will make you melt, smooth jazz tunes that are made for sipping martinis too while cuddling up to your love. They have to with titles like "The Way Young Lovers Do," "Great Day," "Little Jazz Bird," and a sultry cover of "My Fuzzy Valentine." I would absolutely love to see what this songbird could do with a Christmas album because that's a time when I love to hear something as beautiful and lovely as the decorations that are lighting up the room.
